Toronto cops seize drugs, edibles and cash in North York dispensary raid – Toronto Sun

Toronto Police have made several arrests and seized drugs, edibles and cash after raiding an unlicensed dispensary in North York.

On the afternoon of Friday, April 30, after working with the city’s Municipal Licensing and Standards team, police executed a Cannabis Act search warrant at the Just Compassion Dispensary at 1230 Sheppard Ave. W. Unit 6.

Police seized a number of drugs including 558.82 grams of hash, 7,180.36 grams of loose marijuana, 126.38 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 22.04 grams of CBD powder, 394 pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, 71,433 grams of edibles with packaging, and $2,382 in Canadian currency.

Justin Loizos, 36, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of selling cannabis, possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, and fail to comply with an order made during a declared emergency.

Emil Mikhailov, 44, of Maple, was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of selling cannabis, possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
